First, you should understand that planting trees is not enough. There are no. of organizations who just plant saplings, spread their message, post the photos on Facebook & don't even bother to check if the plant is still alive.

Today, we are in a state where consumption of resources is far more than rate of reproducing it back by nature. So, first you should focus on reducing your dependency on conventional sources. Then, you should focus on reducing your consumption. Use the available resources in the best possible efficient way.

There is no point if you cut down a fully grown tree for your need & then planting a sapling. Try to search an alternative resource & save that tree.

So, learn more then conduct conservation & awareness activities.
