What should I do to pay zero income tax if my salaried income is 18 lakh per annum?

What should I do to pay zero income tax if my salaried income is 18 lakh per annum?

I read answers on it… and i found some serious, witty, humorous and fun answers…

But, none can help and to be true if you are taking salary of such a high amount, no one can help you out..

But, there are few tricks that you can use…

  1. Take your salary as a professional income, that way you can save all the tax but beware, your TDS deduction would be 10% flat per month and also most MNCs or so wont adopt this method of payment, so this can work out only in small companies or startups.
  2. You can make use of all the deductions available to a salaried employee, also ask your employer to make your salary structure using all the benefits to the fullest.
  3. You can make some smart investments.

I would suggest you to hire a good professional consultant for individual taxes, pay that person minimum Rs. 25,000 or more a year and you can save your most of the taxes but npt a zero tax is possible unless you start taking the money as a professional income or you are a NRI. ;)

hope it helps…
